The Duarte High School Arts Building is situated in the most prominent “no-man’s-land” on the campus, engaging an unclear edge condition, inaccessible territory… land rejected by faculty and students.
The building stacks program in a dense package (completing an original although unfinished site diagram), disturbed only by the manifestation of movement patterns between the new building and existing components of the campus. |
