Images Description Credits
A large covered entry porch presents an open, friendly image to a 28,000 s.f. main facility placed on a four-acre site. The one-story facility is constructed of brick, split-faced block and wood trusses. The main reception features a one-stop service counter. A large community meeting room is accessible on the Community Action wing of the building and doubles as an Emergency Operations Center for both the City of San Dimas and the County staff. The operations wing houses the Detectives, Executive and Field Operations support. The detention facility consist of a 5,200 s.f. lock-up and inmate worker housing unit.  There is parking for over 220 vehicles and a fueling island.  Provision has been made for the Los Angeles County Emergency Operations trailer to be parked on the site if required.
